Then I called LeapPad, they advised me it's because the cartridge is dirty. What to do is to wipe cartridge with rubbing alcohol, then whereas the cartridge remains to be moist, push it in/out to the leapPad, so this could occasionally clean the leapPad's cartridge receiver also.
